1 (15 ounce can) garbonzo beans, drained
1/2 cup raw sesame seeds
1 Tablespoon olive oil
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 clove garlic
sea salt to taste

Place ingredients in the Vita-Mix container in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Insert tamper through lid opening. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Insert the tamper through the lid to push the nuts into the blades. In 1 minute until smooth

Velvety, rich-tasting, and delicious Broccoli "Cheese" Soup cooks right in the Vita-Mix

1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped red onion
1 stalk celery, with leaves, coarsely chopped
4 cups sliced broccoli florets
2 cups hot vegetarian chicken broth*
1/2 cup hot plain soymilk
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
2/3 cup coarsely grated vegan
cheddar (Vegan Gourmet)
1/2 cup Barbara's mashed potato flakes
1 Tablespoon Bragg Aminos
1 hand full fresh parsley sprigs

* With 2 cups boiling water}


Heat oil and crushed pepper over medium high heat in a 10" frying pan. Add garlic, onions, celery, and saute' 2 minutes. Add broccoli and cook mixture 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and set aside. Pour hot broth into the Vita-Mix container. Add broccoli mixture, hot soymilk, nutritional yeast, cubed vegan cheese, potato flakes, Bragg Aminos, and parsley. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE speed #1. Turn on the machine and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Run for 3 to 4 minutes, until smooth. Serve immediately.

makes 1 1/4 CUPS

Delicious HOT peanut butter made entirely with ONE ingredient: PEANUTS!

1 (24 ounce jar) Dry Roasted Peanuts

Pour nuts into the Vita-Mix container Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Insert tamper through lid opening. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Insert the tamper through the lid to push the nuts into the blades. In 1 minute you will hear a high pitched chugging sound. Once the peanut butter begins to flow freely through the blades the motor sound with change to a low laboring sound. STOP and pour into container.
DO NOT PROCESS FOR MORE THAN 1 MINUTE AFTER MIXTURE STARTS CIRCULATING FREELY. Over processing will cause serious overheating to the machine

(1) 16 oz. pkg. frozen peaches
1 frozen banana, broken into chunks
3/4 cup Organic Sugar www.wholesomesweeteners.com

Place all ingredients in the Vita-Mix container in the order listed. Secure 2-part lid. Select VARIABLE, speed #1. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to #10; then to HIGH. Insert the tamper through the lid to push frozen fruit into the blades. A loud pulling sound will indicate that the mixture is frozen and should form four mounds (about 30 to 60 seconds). Watch mixture carefully, running the machine longer does not make it more frozen - it causes melting.
